Cancellation Policy

 

Applaud Event’s cancellation policy ensures fair compensation to the musician for the time and effort involved in organising the booking, and also allows for the decreasing probability of finding alternative work. The following conditions apply:

  1. All deposits are 20% of the musician’s performance fee and are needed to confirm a booking.

  2. Travel expenses are not included in the cancellation policy and are not covered.

  3. Cancellations that occur less than 48 hours before a booking is to be carried out are subject to the full performers fee, unless the booking occurs less than 72 hours before the event, in which case the deposit is forfeit.
