Fiachra has won all Junior Viola competitions in Feis Ceoil, Ireland's national music competitions, and the Junior Rose Bowl for the highest marked string player. In 2015 and 2016 he was invited to play in the Feis Ceoil Young Platform Concerts at the National Concert Hall, which earned his performances positive reviews in the Sunday Times. In 2017, Fiachra became the first viola player to have won the National Concert Hall Young Musicians’ Award. He was principal viola player of the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland from 2015-2017. In 2012, he was awarded a music scholarship to The High School Rathgar, where he leads the orchestra as a violinist. He has played with orchestras such as Camerata Ireland and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. He took part in the Clandeboye Festival Young Musicians programme in 2017. As a chamber musician, Fiachra has played in the West Cork Chamber Music Festival and the GAIA Chamber Music Festival in Switzerland. He has given solo recitals and toured with various orchestras to the UAE, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, UK and France.
